Goals = Direction
It is very difficult to be a motivated and effective studier if we don't know why it is that we are studying. To help us get motivated we are going to write down a list of goals that we can slowly start working towards.
A goal is a clear and specific statement of what we want. You can set goals in all aspects of your life.
- Examples could include:
- Kick 1 goal at footy on Sunday.
- Save $500 for my trip to Bali.
- Get an A in maths.
- Hand my homework in at 9am tomorrow.
Activity
Take some time now to reflect on what you want. In your notebook, write down a list of all the things you would like to achieve. Don't over think it, just get down as many ideas as you can.
