Best Time to Start Studying = Yesterday

When is the best time to plant a tree? Yesterday! By far, the single most effective study skill is to use the time in class to actually learn what the teacher is teaching you. If you think about it, you have about 20 hours of actual class time a week. Imagine trying to find that time again after school or on weekends. This message is especially important for the students that like their leisure time on the weekend to play netball, hang out with friends etc. The teacher lays the knowledge out for you in class, so take it in and absorb it now! You're sitting there anyway, make life easy for yourself and do it now. This was the best thing I did in school. By concentrating in class, my friends would panic later and I was already a step ahead of them.
